There are so many books I want to read but only so much time.

I just need like a week straight of no distractions so I can read. There’s at least 8 books I wanna read right now. omg let me read.

Books

I really love reading! It’s so calming…relaxing. I read last night and this morning and I finished the book I was reading. The Year of Living Biblically. Now I’m gonna start The Hunger Games. I know I’m super slow on the whole series, but after seeing the trailer, I have to read the book before I go see it. I’m gonna finish the book during break though, because I’m borrowing it from a friend and because I’m just that excited to read it. I’m hoping to finish it in 3 days max. Cause THEN I wanna read Into the Wild. So yeah, besides sleeping, eating, chilling, homework, and hanging out, I’m gonna be reading like crazy.

I’m so excited though.

I went shopping today. South Coast Plaza and like 3 thrift stores.

Came out with:

• Black Jeans
• 2 pairs of gloves
• 4 sweaters
• a shirt
• 3 books: Into The Wild, The Know It All, and Way To Go Smith!

& I only spent about $50 total. I’d say that was a freakin’ bargain! but no more spending for this weekend. I’m staying in so I won’t be tempted to spend. HOPEFULLY. I do need to get a haircut tomorrow though. But other than that, I’ll be staying in and getting some work done this weekend. Day 1 of this 3 day weekend is complete. I’m gonna rest up the last 2 days!

Librarians.

We had to take some books to the library for the ASB advisor today.

WHEN DID LIBRARIANS GET SO MEAN?!

The lady, who I thought was super nice, YELLED AT US.

She was like “GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY LIBRARY NOW”

Okay well it wasn’t exactly those words but she was yelling so loud she might as well have been cussing.

She said we couldn’t turn in the books without a pass.

& the other library lady was like “We can’t take your books right now, we are too busy”

I look around and it’s a desert. All I see is tumbleweeds.

The library was empty.

If you don’t want your books back I might as well throw them away.

I understand that they were just trying to stay organized, but she approached it the wrong way. You don’t yell at students. You aren’t even a teacher, you’re a librarian. Go organize some books or something.

I’m scarred for life and I never wanna go back to the library for a while.
