I always thought it was kind of funny when I hear someone say “You look so pretty!” because it’s like you’re saying they LOOK pretty, but in reality, they aren’t lol

I want a friend who will want to do crazy stuff together and go on adventures.

But wouldn’t mind sitting in silence or just being together & doing absolutely nothing.

If I have to delete my social networking sites, it will go in this order

I’m just so over them. It’s cool to update people on what you’re doing and make memories. But sometimes, we end up trying to take a picture of every little thing. It’s not even necessary. I am really not a fan of tweeting what I’m doing. I mostly tweet song lyrics or to get something off my mind. It’s more of a venting thing. I try not to tweet when I’m hanging out with someone. Like “hanging out with so & so.” Okay, well how about you go hang out with them and give them your attention and stop tweeting every 5 minutes. Facebook is just more of a way for me to keep in touch with groups of people. I never really have full conversations with individual people on there. Instagram. I feel like people do things now a days just to take a picture of it instead of doing things to have fun and make memories. If that makes sense. I like Instagram, but sometimes it gets out of hand. My point is, social media networks are taking over my, actually, all of our lives. Like, what’s the first thing you do when you wake up (besides pee)? You most likely check your phone to check your facebook/twitter/instagram/etc. & I just really wanna limit myself, so I think I will. Starting with twitter. Once school starts, I’m gonna delete it from my phone. So, there’s step one. I will not let social media sites take over. If I want someone to know something, I will tell them personal. I’ll leave my venting to Tumblr, A Journal, or maybe even an actual person. K, I’m just venting here. Mostly because twitter has been annoying me and I’ve slowly been unfollowing people. Anyway, there’s that.

When people don’t talk to me for more than a month, I assume they’ve deleted me from their life, so I guess I should do the same.

I mean, not all friendships were meant to last after high school. I get it. Don’t give me that “My phone was broken” excuse because if you really wanted to keep in touch, you would find a way. You can’t say “I was busy” because we all get busy and it takes 10 seconds to send a quick text. People are so full of excuses, and frankly, I’m done with it. I know what’s real and what isn’t.

Whenever I find out that the clothes celebrities wear cost over hundreds of dollars, I’m seriously shocked. If I was the richest person in the world, I think I would still be shopping at the 99 cent store, thrift stores or at H & M. Why should I spend hundreds of dollars on a shirt, when I could basically get the same thing at a retail store. On special ocassions, I would probably spend more money on something nice and fancy, but not all the time. I just don’t understand. Just because you have a lot of money, doesn’t mean you should spend it all so carelessly.

I just watched “Oprah’s Next Chapter: Rihanna”

It was a special/interview with Rihanna. I always love watching stuff like this about celebrities because you always find out how real they are. The interview took place at her home in Barbados, which is a beautiful place btw. But Rihanna was just so raw. I loved seeing a side of her that you never really get to see. She talked about what life was like for her in Barbados, how she left when she was 16 to follow her dream, the Chris Brown incident, her family, who she really is, and a bunch of other awesome stuff. I’ve always kind of liked Rihanna’s music, especially her first 3 albums: Music of the Sun, A Girl Like Me, & Good Girl Gone Bad. In relation to the Chris Brown Drama, she said that she forgave him after a lot of thought and reestablishing her relationship with her father. Of course she was angry and hurt in the beginning, but she moved on and forgave him. I know there’s a lot of people out there who are still angry with Chris Brown, but it was a mistake. He wasn’t even let off that easily, he paid for it. It just got me thinking, if Rihanna was the one who actually endured the pain and suffering of the abuse and forgave him, why can’t the rest of the world? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and of course it’s not easy to forgive someone after something like that but he has to live with that for the rest of his life, and it happened so early in his career too. So yeah, I was shocked and upset initially, but I still listen to Chris Brown and I forgave him. But anyway, back to Rihanna. THAT’S MY GURL. & I have a new found love and respect for her.

I really have a difficult time dealing with stubborn people.

Can you just be more open to things?

How will your life be fulfilling if you won’t open your eyes & mind to new things and experiences? Don’t stay in the same box for your whole life. Live a little. Don’t be so stubborn.

Prejudice is just ignorance.

This is Me.

I’m really friendly. But sometimes, I can come off awkward at first and OVERLY friendly. But I don’t see that as a problem really. I’m extremely open minded. I actually can’t think of anything that I’m completely against besides murder or something. I’m a pretty decent singer. I can harmonize. I’m a proficient dancer. Not amazing, but I don’t suck. I really love to go shopping. I try to dress nicely but sometimes it ends up looking weird. I find it easier to just dress in a simple manner. I’m really spirited. When I’m proud of something, I show it and I want everyone else to be proud too. I am obsessed with Glee. I’m also obsessed with Pentatonix. I love broadway musicals. Although I’ve never see one, I know all the songs to a lot of them. I just try to be a good friend to people, but people try to take advantage of me. I have many acquaintances, but not very many friends. You think it would suck, but I think I’m fine with it. I like tumblr. Though, sometimes it gets me into trouble. I’m pretty ambitious. If I set my mind to something, I will do it one way or another. I actually don’t like to sleep much, but I hate feeling tired so I guess I like sleep? Idek. I am not a fan of subtweeting on twitter. “Mention me so I know it’s real.” My favorite colors are blue, gray, black, and green. I’m not very attractive at all. It’s weird, I have a lot of confidence, yet I don’t even like how I look. But, I’ve got other things going for me so it’s alright. I accept who I am. I’ve never had a job before. I like volunteering. I like to make people feel good. I’m a leader, not a follower. I loved being in ASB. I am a person who likes to take charge. Although, I know when it’s appropriate to listen and take direction. This is getting long. This is just a little about me. I’m still trying to figure out who I am.

How would you describe me?

What would you tell someone if they asked about me?

Is there something that you don’t like about me?

I’m curious.
